BACKGROUND

For those of you that are new to the trivia, some important considerations (and to remind the others, if needed).

• I am not an expert in cinema or music, just a fan. So, the trivia will have some evident biases. This means that there will only be film and music questions.
• Participants can provide music and film recommendations that I will post here for everyone's knowledge. In exchange for your recommendations, you can ask me for some hints of questions that you are finding complicated. Only one hint per recommendation.
• All questions (and the answers) will be posted on this blog.

THE RULES 

1. The theme of this year is back to the start (to square one),  so the questions will be about the first movies and creations of directors, actresses, actors and musicians (first hint).
2. Every week I will post some questions (the number will depend on how much time my three-months old son sleeps during the day--or night). You have to answer the name of the director and the name of the film. In the case of songs, the name of the song and who sings it. For each correct answer you will gain two points: one for the name of the movie or song and the other for the director or interpreter. If you answer both things correctly, you'll have two points, if only one answer is correct, you'll get one. 
3. As this time forces us to be cool, there will be a winner every week --she who gets the higher score. The winner of that week will receive a bonus of $ 100 Mexican pesos (or its equivalent in the official currency of the country where the winner lives) in his or her preferred online entertainment platform. 
4. Buuut, we will also have a winner for the whole duration of the trivia: whoever answers the questions that I will publish every week for this purpose. The winner of the whole trivia will receive a bonus of $ 400 Mexican pesos (or its equivalent in the official currency of the country where the winner lives) in his or her preferred online entertainment platform. 
5. This means that each week I will publish two types of questions: questions of the week and those that are cumulative (for the entire duration of the trivia). Each question will be clearly identified. At the end of each week I will post the answers to the questions of the week and the answers of the cumulative questions at the end of the trivia.
6. The questions will be published at some point from Monday to Friday, please e-mail me your answers at atzimba (at) gmail (dot) com no later than Sunday at 11:59 p.m. You can send the answers of the cumulative questions whenever you want.
7. The trivia will last four weeks, but we (and by that I mean "I") will see if it is necessary to extend it.
